THE DOLPHIN CODE The Dolphin Code was a method of communications designed to enable submarines, ships and aircraft to speak to each other in areas of submarine operations or in many cases, social and domestic activities surrounding people of "The Trade".

FALKLANDS REMEMBERED Martin Clarke recalls that he was on Easter leave 1982 when the news broke through that the Falkland islands had been invaded by Argentinean troops. The next day saw the departure of a task force from base HMS DOLPHIN, (where Martin's boat ONYX was based in the 1st submarine squadron). The story is worth reading.

ON THE COUCH A series of articles reprinted with the permission of the author, LEUT Sarah Chapman RANR. Sarah's studies into the modern submariner should go a long way towards ensuring that their welfare is being considered, based on factual studies performed in the real environment. These articles have generated a lot of interest, and have been written in an interesting and informative style.
