Surprisingly I later followed my time in the Navy with a stint in the Army (RASIGS), then a career?? in the public service. Now 20+ years later and looking back at my time in boats, I can say that it was a period of my life that seems to hold the strongest memories for me, both good and bad.

My spare time is spent as an instructor on TS Sydney trying to show the cadets there is more to the RAN than the grey funnel line and that being a submariner is a much better option.
