Engineering manager - combat systems - shore
facilities - design authority software hardware. The role will involve review and approval, via an Engineering Commitment of all engineering estimates and schedules throughout the program. Design Authority for the Combat System, Shore Facilities and any other Systems covered by the Submarine project. System, software and hardware architecture of all systems. Certification of all approved changes to the design of the systems and equipment nominated under project. Planning, establishment and maintenance of a cost effective support and development environment for all Systems covered under the contract. Through interaction with Engineering Functional
Managers, provide adequate and timely engineering resources to meet the
Company’s technical obligations under the Service Descriptions. Introduction/modification of engineering processes and practices to meet the Company’s business targets, consistent with the quality and engineering procedures of the Company Timely availability of technical and engineering support to the Systems covered under the contract to fulfil the DA capability identified within the contract Coordination of engineering services, including:
Review and approval of all engineering plans and
processes throughout the program Essential Experience Must have held management level engineering or technical responsibility within similar engineering (post-graduation).
